To Be Unveiled on Global Auction Platform JOOPITER on June 9


 

Influential Japanese fashion brand sacai, imported by Shinsegae International has partnered with JOOPITER, the auction platform founded by world-renowned artist and producer Pharrell Williams, and the globally celebrated K-pop group SEVENTEEN for a special collaboration.


sacai announced that it will unveil its collaborative collection with SEVENTEEN on June 9 via JOOPITER, the global auction platform. sacai x SEVENTEEN showcases SEVENTEEN’s relationship with sacai and includes pieces worn, signed and inspired by the group. The auction coincides with the recent release of the group’s fifth studio album “HAPPY BURSTDAY” and the unveiling of the video for their new track “Bad Influence,” produced by JOOPITER founder Pharrell Williams.


The auction will be open for global bidding from June 9 to June 18, and is available for viewing now at JOOPITER.com. Net proceeds from the sale will be donated to UNESCO, the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture. Both SEVENTEEN, as UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Youth, and Pharrell Williams, as UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador for Arts Education and Entrepreneurship, have joined forces for this special initiative in support of UNESCO’s mission and activities.


Pharrell Williams, founder of JOOPITER said: “It was a pleasure to work with SEVENTEEN on our new song. “Bad Influence,” and it's exciting to bring them into the world of JOOPITER, along with our brilliant friend, Chitose Abe of sacai. This collaboration is built upon our mutual creative energy, and we can't wait for fans around the world to experience it.”


Chitose Abe, designer and creative director of sacai said: “Collaborating with SEVENTEEN for this project was about more than designing clothes—it was about creating something that could express individuality, unity, and energy all at once. Each member brings their own presence, and the goal was to reflect that through garments that blend contrasts, true to sacai’s philosophy. I am honored that Pharrell and JOOPITER brought us together and made it possible to offer this collaboration in a way that feels both personal and global.”


Auction lots include:

∙ sacai-designed jacket worn and featured in SEVENTEEN’s “Bad Influence” video

∙ T-shirt signed by eleven (11) of the group’s members featuring the J–17–S emblem, a new graphic that merges the logos of JOOPITER, SEVENTEEN and sacai

∙ An exclusive LABUBU ‘POP MART x How2work green edition’, from The Monsters series by artist Kasing Lung, is wearing custom designed beige onesies from sacai, embellished with one-of-a-kind accessories. This custom LABUBU, available only via this auction by blind box, was produced in an edition of 14: Thirteen (13) boxes feature vinyl plush dolls dressed in beige sacai onesies, a number which represents the 13 members of SEVENTEEN, while the 14th - secret version - is adorned in a distinctive color, a nod to one of Pharrell Williams’ personal favorite sacai pieces.


Merging the worlds of collectibles and high fashion, this collaboration marks the first time Labubu has officially collaborated with an international fashion brand.


The lots will be available to view at sacai Cheongdam Seoul from tomorrow, Tuesday, June 10 to Thursday, June 12.


A line of limited-edition merchandise designed by Chitose Abe, designer and creative director of sacai, will be released in tandem with the auction. The six-piece collection includes exclusive hoodies, T-shirts in two colorways, and a cap, each featuring the J–17–S emblem. The collection is available to order now on JOOPITER.com now. The T-shirt will also be available starting tomorrow, June 10, at sacai Cheongdam Seoul.
